Our Services

A professional home inspection will help you determine the true condition of your home. Whether you are the buyer or the seller, a home inspection will help turn you into a knowledgeable consumer. The inspection will allow a buyer to identify problems and deferred maintenance issues that demand immediate attention as well as issues that are not as urgent. As a seller the inspection will allow you to define problems that might show up in a buyer’s inspection and make corrections that will improve the homes selling potential.

A list of our services includes:

Buyer’s inspection
As a professional ASHI home inspector, Mike is knowledgeable in the issues that you may want to have addressed before you close on your new home. All houses, whether new or existing, will have their strong and weak points. A third party opinion will help you determine as to whether an item is a serious safety issue, a common maintenance detail or a minor problem that can be resolved when time and finances allow in the future.

Seller’s inspection
As a seller you may feel that you, your real estate agent or friends have the ability to identify the issues that might be raised by a buyer’s inspection. A professional home inspector is well versed in finding and defining many items which may not be obvious or are often overlooked. The more knowledge you have at your disposal about your home, the more you can deflect potential problems during the selling process.

Construction Inspection
Most buyers of new homes do not have the knowledge necessary to determine the quality of workmanship or adherence to the industry standards of construction practices. The normal inspections performed during the construction process are a rough frame, electrical and plumbing review and a final inspection. These inspections will give you confidence that you have received the value and quality you deserve in your new dream home.

Warranty inspection
As the owner of a new home you may have a one year warranty on the dwelling. As the year progresses, homeowners will develop a list of items for the builder to repair. There will be defects not obvious to an untrained eye that would remain undetected unless found by a home inspection. The timely repair of these additional items could be a considerable savings to the homeowner in the future.
